Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Finance Manager for a 9–month contract, based hybrid in eitherLeeds, Edinburgh or Bristol.

Purpose of the Finance Manager Role:

As Finance Manager, you will work as part of a team leading the creation of customer treasury active management across Embark, Retirement Account and Stockbroking?

Your focus will be on all three entities which are all FCA regulated firms, where you will be responsible for helping build the day–to–day management of the treasury & liquidity function.

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building end to end new processes and systems.
  • Leading the development and operation of the Client Treasury Money Liquidity Frameworks to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, whilst ensuring that a commercial lens is applied when placing deposits with approved counterparties.
  • Collaborating with the Financial Institutions team to ensure we maintain a strong panel of internal & external banking providers with which we can deposit client money securely and in line with relevant regulations.
  • Ensuring a well–controlled framework is in place surrounding verification of client deposits, recognition of income between client and firm.
  • Delivering of plans and forecasting activities related to the treasury management function.

What we require from the candidate:

  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving and a desire to deliver solutions which are essential to lead a smooth customer investment process.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial understanding and a questioning mindset with the ability to manage multiple customers.
  • Sound judgement and ability to challenge to support bold decision making.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Able to read, write, amend and analyse Macros in VBA.
  • A Self–starter and a logical mindset.
