Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager to join our client s business. The role is to establish a civil engineering and construction project management operation to provide infrastructure adoption solutions to the housebuilders and commercials developers.

Our Client:

Our client is an established company with unrivalled experience in delivering sewer, highway and open space adoptions for major housebuilders and commercial developers.

They will provide full induction training into how they operate as providing unique, fixed fee solutions on a guaranteed fee basis; something that is unique in their industry but gives their clients the confidence and assurance that they will only be charged for the work they complete once they have achieved a recognisable and commercial benefit for them.

Initially you will be learning the business and gaining knowledge of how the company operates. You will also be involved with building relations with the client base as well as carrying out varied day to day duties and responsibilities associated with managing projects delivering infrastructure and bespoke solutions to the built environment. You will be rewarded by working for an established, expanding, and successful group of companies serving the demanding and growing housebuilding sector. You will be involved in all aspects of the business from identifying engineering solutions to pricing and profit analysis and this opportunity has potential for the right candidate becoming a Business Leader within the group of companies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management of multi–disciplinary engineering projects.
  • Undertaking desk–based studies into development infrastructure.
  • Liaison with Local Authorities and Water Companies.
  • On site supervision/management of civil engineering works.
  • Management of Site Health and Safety and adherence to company procedures.
  • Reviewing tenders and works quotations.
  • Commercial assessments, valuations, and costing of works.
  • Contractor management and liaison.
  • Recruiting and Managing staff including developing apprentices.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain company reputation by complying with regulations.
  • Solving project issues and problems.
  • Delivery of projects under strict deadlines.
  • Reporting on Business Performance KPI s to Board Directors.
  • Client Management and Liaison.
  • Business Development.
