We're looking for a Utilities Project Manager to join our team to help deliver on the utilities aspect of the National Highways A417 upgrade scheme along Kier Highways. Location: Commutable distance of the A417 between Cheltenham to Gloucester Contract: Permanent– full time, part time/ flexible hours may be available, just let us knowResponsibilitiesAs Utilities Project Manager, you'll be working on one of the highest profile Highway schemes in the UK. Helping to deliver the utility package within the overall scheme to budget and timescales, you'll also comply with Health, Safety and Environment. The Project Manager will complete ECI works initially to get the contract to site and then deliver utility diversions project schemes including water, electric and communications assets. Your day to day will include:
  • Manage the day–to–day site operations on site
  • Write RAMS/ WPP's, documentation for ITP's
  • Be aware of the surrounding works/ contractors and the co–ordination of all parties re planned works
  • Complete the required daily records for works completed on site each day and note all programme delays, attendees, raise with the commercial tea any changes/ issues re the contracted works
  • Manage and ensure ITP's are agreed and completed accordingly
What are we looking for?This role of Utilities Project Manager is great for you if you:
  • Have experience in a similar role within the utilities industry delivering at least 2 utilities – water, electrical and communications
  • Hold SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor and full driving licence
  • Suitable Project Management Qualification
  • Contractual and commercial awareness along with knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
