Residential Development Solicitor, 1+ year PQE, Leeds - Opportunity to join market leading team in Leeds Job Ref: MD2254
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Development Solicitor to this nationally renowned team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a minimum of 12 months' PQE in residential development to further their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of residential development matters, including site set up work, freehold and leasehold schemes, and residential and mixed-use schemes. • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the development process, from initial negotiations to completion. • Conduct legal research, draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, and licenses. • Liaise and negotiate with various stakeholders, including developers, landowners, local authorities, and external legal counsel. • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
Requirements: • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 12 months PQE in residential development law. • Strong experience in site set up work, freehold and leasehold schemes, and residential and mixed-use schemes. • In-depth knowledge of relevant property law, planning regulations, and construction issues. • Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. • High attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
