Interim Maintenance Manager, Northamptonshire, GBP450 – GBP500 + expenses per day

Interim Maintenance Shift Manager or Interim Engineering Shift Manager required to lead and mentor a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers within the FMCG industry. The Maintenance Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the Maintenance Department on shift. You will be electrically biased, having served an apprenticeship and have excellent understanding of food, or process production. As the Maintenance Shift Manager you will also have practical experience of overseeing PPM schedules/implementation, quality and waste.

The Maintenance Manager will report into the Head of Engineering and have strong leadership skills, man management experience and be responsible for:
Coordinating work within the team
Providing technical leadership – guiding the team on a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure
Asset Reliability
First and second line management: Staff appraisals, mentoring and managing a team of Multi skilled Engineers
Adhering and delivering on KPI's e.g. Planned maintenance, Health and Safety and quality
Continuous improvements Projects
Contractors coordination on site

The Maintenance Shift Manager or Engineering Shift Manager will have served an apprenticeship and be qualified to NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or HNC standards with industry recognised Engineering qualifications.
