Business Development Manager – Industrial Plant
GBP60,000 base (GBP85,000 OTE) Uncapped commission, company car.
THE CLIENT
A worldwide manufacturer of high value machinery and machine parts that are used in a variety of industries throughout the world. This is a well–established global brand and a market–leader in a number of sectors. The UK business has enjoyed a long period of incremental growth over the last few years and is one of the rare enterprises that has benefited from increased demand during the Coronavirus pandemic, as such, their growth plans have been unaffected and having invested heavily in their sales function, UK headquarters and product delivery platform.
THE ROLE
Park of a small, dedicated UK sales team, you ll develop new business deals with capex values of GBP200,000+. This is a strategic sales role, with lengthy sales cycles where you ll deal with company owners and shareholders within SMEs from GBP10million turnover and beyond.
This is a role where you can expect all the support and training you need backed–up by a strong marketing budget and a healthy supply of warm sales leads, however, it s an autonomous role that will allow you to manage and develop your sales pipeline as you see fit.
THE CANDIDATE
We re looking for a dynamic and money–motivated, new business sales professional, capable of developing their own sales strategy and managing their own pipeline. It is essential that you have previous capital equipment sales experience within plant or heavy machinery. You should be used to dealing with customers in a hands–on environment (this is not a boardroom sales role) and have the self–discipline and drive to succeed with minimal supervision.
THE REWARDS
Basic salary of GBP60,000 along with a monthly paid commission package worth an OTE of GBP85,000. This is uncapped with commission paid on all sales closed. Fully expensed company car, laptop, mobile, death in service, pension and generous holiday package.
