About the role

• As a Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of making things happen – on time on budget and on spec. You'll take ownership and co–ordinate a wide variety of challenging projects, from scoping to close.
• You'll be working on brand–new developments whilst being focused on achieving optimum performance, meaning there's just as much focus on people and outcomes as technology and planning.
• At the same time, you'll use your expertise to improve project management capabilities across our organisation.
• Our goal is a fully personalised customer experience that integrates pet care across store, multi–channel and vets to deliver seamless service. For you, that means working on a range of projects, both large and small, simple and complex, that transform our business.

About you

• You'll have a track–record of project management in a change and technology environment, including successful delivery across multiple projects of varying scale, size and complexity.
• This should include experience of planning, managing budgets and overseeing third–party suppliers in project delivery.
• A confident communicator, you'll be ready to collaborate with others and engage at all levels across the organisation. You're likely to hold or be studying for a professional qualification such as APM or PMI.

Pets at Home Vet Group has 440 practices, approximately 400 of which are operated as individual Joint Venture businesses. Over 400 practices operate under the Vet4Pets brand and the remainder are Companion Care. Our Joint Venture model is unique to the UK vet market and it offers ambitious vets an early route to practice ownership with professional support on financing, IT, People, Marketing and supplier relations. Each partner has full clinical freedom to do whatever they believe to be right for each individual patient, including using the products of their choice. The owner mentality drives superior performance once the practice reaches maturity, compared to the typical company–owned model.
