Director of Architecture

On behalf of a leading and forward–thinking construction and property consultancy a confident Director of Architecture is needed to join their growing team in their Wakefield office.

The role of the Architect

The Director of Architecture will manage the team of architects with projects from concept through to delivery of the construction project.

There is a range of projects that the Architect will be managing, including new build projects as well as alterations to established buildings. The Director will work within a variety of sectors including, residential, healthcare, industrial, and education.

The Director of Architecture will be using a range of software systems and encouraging the team to use AutoCAD and Revit.

The Architect

The Architect will ideally have:

• Ideally be associated with Industry known memberships.
• Can show clear evidence of experience with AutoCAD/Revit
• Knowledge of education, residential, healthcare, and industrial sectors
• Experience managing other architects
• RIBA Part III
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
