PROJECT MANAGER (I.T / Retail / Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our European Store Implementation team. We are a resourceful and motivated group of people that are responsible for the deployment of the IT hardware for new stores and store refits. We implement technology refreshes and enhancements in our 700+ portfolio of European stores. We do this in close collaboration with our global IT colleagues, our business partners and our carefully selected 3rd parties. As a Project Manager, you will own the IT elements of individual store openings from start to finish and will run tech refresh projects across our entire estate.

Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering new capabilities that drive business results on one or more small to medium sized, moderately complex IT projects from initialization through project close
- Leads project and/or program activities following defined methodology (SDP/SDLC) and reports on status to ensure that assigned projects are completed on time, within approved budget, and provides desired business value
- Assigns and supervises multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assesses priorities of assigned activities and ensures integration of all dependent projects
- Responsible for timely and effective project communications including stakeholder management and sponsor interactions, meeting management, and reporting
- Complies with Sarbanes Oxley and PCI
- Manages project change control process with business sponsor ensuring any requested changes to scope are reviewed to assess impact on schedule, cost and resources
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem solving skills
- Good organizational presentation, and business partnering skills
- Good leadership and effective communication skills including strong verbal and written communication
- Good ability to multi–task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities
- Strong ability to navigate between the art and science of project management
- Strong knowledge of system development life cycle methodology and project management techniques
- Experience with Estimation techniques like PERT and CPM
- Familiarity with financial, retail human resource, or logistics systems
- Familiarity with MS office suite, MS Project and MS Visio
- Makes decisions and recommendations on policy changes, resource requirements, project schedules, solution options, and project budgets
- Accountable for project financials, including baselines, forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation
Responsible for Global Sourcing and Procurement and driving vendor issues and SOWs
- Batchelor's degree or equivalent
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem solving skills
- Strong leadership and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi–task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities
- Proven project management skills
- Project management certifications such as Prince II
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, MS Project and MS Visio
- Familiarity with operating in an Agile environment using Agile ceremonies
- Familiarity with retail IT hardware
