Halliday Marx are excited to partner with a Luxury Retail & FMCG Brand to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager on a Permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will lead the financial reporting to ensure comprehensive and accurate delivery to the Group.
This is a Hybrid working role allowing the successful candidate to be based in the office 3 days per week.

This is a Hybrid working role allowing the successful candidate to be based in the office 3 days per week.
Your key duties will include, but not be limited too;
- Preparation of financial statements for two large legal entities
- Reporting under local GAAP and IFRS standards
- Responsible for the month end reporting for two entities (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) and report and consolidate back into the Group
- Forecasting of both balance sheet and cashflows with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Detail analytical review of balance sheets and cashflow forecasts with insightful commentary to support business decisions
- Business Partner with the wider business units and stakeholders
- Prepare deliverables and co-ordinate the audit being a key liaison with the external auditors
- Responsible for the preparation of the corporate tax returns, liaising with advisors and HMRC when necessary
- Improve, streamline and assist with process and procedure improvement
- Manage 1 direct report consisting of training, mentoring and coaching
- Adhoc projects and tasks to support the wider finance team and function
The Successful Candidate;
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience within FMCG, Retail, Consumer Goods/Products
- Exceptional communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build rapport with stakeholders from all levels of the business
- Strong Excel and Analytical skills
- Previous working experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Deadline driven and can work accurately and to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and collectively within a team environment
