The Business Partner will play a key role in the firm as their FP&A team is expanding.
It's expected that the successful candidate will partner with the multiple departments of the business and their teams to build effective forecasts and ensure that they understand what is driving their costs and what options are available to them to drive efficiencies.
Key to your success will be an an inquisitive mind and an ability to build strong relationships with your stakeholders. No two days will be the same but some activities that you can be assured of working on are:
Requirements:
- Experience working in a Business Partnering role, ideally within an FS institution or large organisation
- Accountancy qualification necessary (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 2 years post qualification experience highly desirable
- Cost accounting and management accounting experience highly desirable

- Working with your stakeholders to translation the finances into language and presentations both they and their teams can understand.
- Take an active role in the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group functions and develop a detailed understanding of each department's budget and drivers of any key variances and establish controls to ensure the robustness of the cost planning process
- Develop and complete accurate and timely monthly reporting to include variance analysis post engagement with key stakeholders to allow insight to feed into decision making
- Monitor the financial targets and performance based on strategy. Agreeing remedial action with stakeholders where necessary and supporting the deliver of cost saving initiatives
- Plan and develop reporting and processes to improve staff awareness at all levels of finance and embed sound financial acumen in colleagues so they take greater budget responsibility for their own teams
- Be a key contributor to the Group functions in supplier cost analysis, identifying opportunities for greater cost control and efficiencies
- Review current processes, oversee implementation / improvement of systems and internal controls to company requirements and standards.
