Director (Power)

The Client Bracken Recruitment represents is an established Group with a fantastic reputation. They have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hands on Director with a strong Power background (electrical distribution and transmission) who is seeking to work with a business with strong ambitions moving forward. The position would suit an ambitious Director looking to develop a power division within the group. This is nationwide role and will require an individual who has experience in a strategic position with a reputable Main Contractor within the power sector.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically lead a business nationwide
• Provide strong leadership skills and communicate accordingly to all of the management team
• Liaising with clients, and Senior Managers
• Ensure that projects are running on time and on budget
• Providing weekly reports to the CEO
• Assess all project risks
• Liaise with Senior Management to Ensuring that all Safety Management Systems are in place and in operation
• Tender report / analysis / recommendations
• Produce budgets and reports for clients

Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar position
• Experience managing a team of Senior Management
• Commercially and contractually sound
• Excellent communicator
• Hands on when required
• Strong knowledge of Power Sector (electrical distribution and transmission)
• Experience liaising with Clients
