Head of Performance Reporting
Location: Bristol – Hybrid/Flexible
Role
Climate17 are working closely with a fully integrated renewable energy business that build, own and operate a mixed portfolio of solar, battery and wind assets across the UK.
They have asked us to source them a Head of Performance Reporting to be responsible for ensuring the collection, reporting and analysis of all organisational information relating to performance and finance. You will be responsible for maintaining, producing and enhancing operational and financial reports for the portfolio of solar and wind assets.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the effective management and performance of staff within the Department
- To ensure completion of appraisals and quarterly reviews of all direct reports
- Strategic management of the team, setting goals and objectives in line with companies' goals.
- Working closely with the Commercial Team to develop, agree and maintain an appropriate reporting structure for all new business acquisitions.
- Lead on recruitment ensuring team is fully staffed and appropriate training/development plans are set.
- Hold primary responsibility for maintenance, production, and enhancement of various reporting formats, for release on a routine basis.
- Responsible for the review of performance and operational data sources to identify risk to mission accomplishment and work with leadership to both inform and mitigate of identified risks as appropriate.
- Preparing quarterly, bi–annual and annual compliance performance operation reporting and supporting information (including cashflow forecasts).
- Assisting in the preparation of, and approval process for, the underlying SPVs' annual budgets.
- Creating interactive dashboards utilising output from the data warehouse.
- Working alongside the data warehouse project team ensuring all performance reporting requirements are met.
- Hold primary responsibility for the maintenance and optimisation of fund models (e.g. debt and equity).
- Managing stakeholder relationships with key parties to ensure key deliverables, Portfolio, Asset Management, Operations and Finance.
Requirements
- Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance / operational metrics is required.
- Industry experience would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, visual basic etc) is required.
- Experience in Operational Management is required.
