Fuel Systems Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Fuel System Engineer on an initial 8 – month contract. As the Fuel System Engineer you will work on Continuous Product Development activities with our Single Aisle Products including progression of modifications to Fuel System Fluid Mechanical Equipment, investigation of in–service issues, follow–up of supplier quality issues, performing System analysis to support impact assessments of changes to the Fuel System

Role: Fuel System Engineer
Pay: 50 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Filton
Contract: Monday– Friday, 35 Hours per week, 8 Months Contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Fluid Mechanical Work Package Leader and the various technical specialists to deliver engineering tasks associated with the Continuous Product Development of the SA Fuel System.
• Progressing Modifications and System Impact assessments of the Fuel System
• Analysing Supplier Change requests and Quality Issues on Fuel Systems Equipment
• Performing Analysis of Fuel System performance.

Essential Skills:

• Experience of working with Airbus Fuel Systems is preferred
• System Engineering and Equipment Development and Certification Experience beneficial
• Understanding of Airbus V&V Process
