Position Overview:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our senior leadership team and will work closely with the CFO and be involved in making informed financial decisions. You will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders, providing financial insights, and driving business performance to achieve our strategic objectives.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and wider business leaders, partnering with them to understand financial goals and providing insights to drive decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate performance and highlight areas of concern.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to optimize financial processes, streamline operations, and drive profitability.
  • Assess and evaluate new business initiatives, conducting financial due diligence and providing financial impact analysis.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the organisation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel or other financial software. Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
  • Highly analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
