FTSE 100 energy business playing a major part in leading towards net zero and a sustainable world seeks a Senior Solicitor to support the Solar & Battery team.

Responsibilities:
  • You will provide legal advice and support to various stakeholders
  • You will work closely with the procurement and commercial teams and support on a range of construction contracts such as FIDIC and NEC
  • Providing advice to a variety of stakeholders in respect of the project function, including general commercial agreements, tenders and acquisitions
  • You will support the Solar & Battery team on projects such as energy storage and solar generation
We are looking for:
  • Qualified lawyer in either Scotland and/or England and Wales with 3 or more years PQE*
  • Trained with a well-regarded law firm or in-house preferably with knowledge of the energy or utilities sector
  • Confident solicitor with Commercial and/or construction experience
  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating on complex projects
  • Ideally you will be experienced in drafting and negotiating various construction contracts such as FIDIC and NEC
