This leading health care and pharmaceutical business is pioneering in high profile research and medication development. They are based in Hertfordshire with a Global legal & Data Protection team at this EMEA headquarters.
Description
The ideal Data Protection Manager - Pharma will join a global privacy team and support all data protection, GDPR and local privacy questions across EMEA, Japan & Australasia. The typical responsibilities will include
- Undertaking DPIAs
- Drafting DPAs
- Responding to DSARs
- Advising on local privacy with business units across the region
- Drafting and implementing policies
Profile
The successful Data Protection Manager - Pharma will have obtained in house privacy experience within a fast past environment. Although pharmaceutical or life sciences experience would be advantageous it is not a prerequisite.
- Must be comfortable completing DPIAs & responding to DSARs.
- Must have a passion to develop and learn new elements of privacy both internationally and more complex requests.
* No requirement to be a UK qualified solicitor
