A well-respected international insurance company who are private equity backed, is looking to welcome a Group Accountant into their Finance team. You would be supporting the Group Accounting Controller to ensure the highest level of financial accuracy.

The main responsibilities for this Group Accountant role are:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Support the Group Accountant Controller to implement a new accounting process as required
- Preparing the valuations to help support the investment entity within the company
- Preparing journals
- Supporting the fund operations
- Submitting the general ledger postings
- Completing the bank and the inter company reconciliations
- Be responsible for preparing the statutory accounts
The successful candidate for this Financial Account will:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
- IFRS Technical accounting is desirable
- Have strong attention to detail and have strong Excel skills
- Valuations or investment entity accounting experience is desirable
