You will join a global technology enterprise who manufacture a variety of household appliances. Due to the level of growth within the organisation, my client is looking for a Portfolio Planning and Finance Manager to join their IT Corporate Functions team to improve the consistency, predictability and efficiency of project and programme delivery.

Main responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain project management standards, processes, templates and procedures
  • Support the setting up of individual project processes , as well as supporting project/programme managers
  • Support the use of planning, estimating, tracking and risk analysis tools and techniques
  • Recruit and manage appropriate PMO resources to meet the needs of the PMO
  • Evaluate project performance and recommend changes

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting project delivery, ideally within a digital industry
  • Understand project management fundamentals and business management systems
  • Ability to manage a PMO team
  • Proven understanding of financial management within project/programme delivery
  • Strong working knowledge of project tools including: MS Project, Jira and Confluence
