Property can be complex so that's why we're here – to help you realise your goals, and turn your dreams into a reality".The Group Land & New Homes Team is responsible for delivering a National, fully integrated planning, consultancy, land and new homes sales service. Excellence of service, operational consistency and high quality advice is at the core of the LNH team's approach, in order to delight each and every customer and generate maximum value for Countrywide.The head of new homes is a key member of the Group Residential Development team. They will work as part of the LNH Team, to deliver both the performance and the strategic requirements of our hub based programme, within their own area of responsibility. The role will require working in close collaboration with the local Territory MD and other business unit leaders, functional heads, business partners and teams across the Group to deliver outstanding performance in line with our Purpose, Vision and Values and our stated strategic ambitions.Examples of what you will be doing:Strategy:
- Develop, support and implement the land and new homes strategy, in support of the wider Group commitment to business growth
- Where necessary, lead a complex and challenging cultural and business change agenda
- Form a deep understanding of your competitive positioning in your business area and the strategy required to beat the competition
- Develop a robust strategic and operational plan to drive the business performance and define business goals within the team
- Grow our existing business within the sector, including, but not exclusively or limited to; land sales and acquisitions, planning consultancy, new homes distribution, financial services, conveyancing
- Act as a visible advocate and role model, demonstrating our purpose and values and creating an environment where are values are consistently demonstrated through their own and their team's behaviours
- Own the delivery of sustainable growth in your area
- Deliver budgeted/forecasted performance targets
- Own the formulation and implementation of a business plan, aligned to the aspirations of the relevant Residential Development business unit
- Work with other business units to capture commercial cross–sell and up–sell opportunities and demonstrably reduce 'value leakage' (e.g. withdrawals, missed cross–sales opportunities, etc)
- Develop insights and a deep understanding of our Customers' Journey and optimise the 'Moments of Truth' for all customer journeys
- Drive and embed a culture of true customer centricity, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do
- Build and inspire a truly high performing team, delivering world–class people experience, cultivating ownership, empowerment, collaboration and engagement that bring our leadership behaviours to life every day.
- You will have been a valued member of a high performing business unit, within an Estate Agency background and/or with New Homes/Developer experience
- You will have a strong track record in B2B sales with an outstanding commercial acumen and local market knowledge
- You will have experience of building and leading a high performing team in fast paced and demanding environment and will also have land transaction knowledge / competency
