Paying circa GBP75,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Talentedge are currently working with an incredibly exciting high growth advertising agency who are looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their finance team during this period of impressive growth.

This is a fantastic newly created role and a great opportunity for any successful candidate to develop their technical accounting skills in collaborative working environment working closely with various senior finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering the annual budget, periodic reforecasting and monthly financial reporting for the business
• Work closely with key business stakeholders both finance and non finance
• Developing and managing the finance team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Reviewing and analyzing all cost variances against the previous years as well as the latest budget and forecasts
• Taking responsibility of the balance sheet working closely with other key finance stakeholders.
• Supporting all reporting requests and audit requirements ensuring that all reporting requirements are submitted in a timely manner
• Revenue and payroll forecasting
• Monthly P&L forecast preparation
• Working closely with the CFO and other senior team members on Adhoc projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Systems implementation experience ideal
• Technically strong with a proven background in financial reporting
• Ability to develop & motivate a team
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Thrives in a fast– changing environment
• Team player with excellent communication abilities
