Marketing Director (12 Month FTC) – Manchester City Centre – GBP100,000
Our client, is seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to join their team. They have a strong set of company values, and are committed to making a significant impact on the economy across the UK.
As the Marketing Director, you will lead a 20–member team consisting of regional property marketeers, digital and content marketing specialists, sustainability marketers, and event managers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with their commercial objectives, driving lead generation, brand awareness, and achieving annual targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the marketing team, fostering a culture of success and continuous development
- Implement multi–functional strategies tailored to specific regions or disciplines
- Manage and oversee the marketing budget, aligning it with commercial targets and business objectives
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to promote their future innovation–led proposition and engage with their customer base
- Identify and implement innovative marketing approaches to connect with start–ups, scale–ups, and international organisations
- Work in conjunction with the Brand and Product teams to deliver customer–focused campaigns and enhance their market presence
- Drive performance and monitor lead generation
- Champion digital transformation, leading their digital strategy and enhancing CRM capabilities
- Foster a customer–centric approach throughout the team, contributing to customer app development
- Develop and execute social content strategies in collaboration with their Communications and PR channels
- Manage relationships with third–party agencies, ensuring the delivery of effective campaigns and high–quality service
- Monitor competitor activity, analyse trends, and maintain a competitive advantage
- Evaluate the performance of integrated marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing impact on commercial targets
- Collaborate effectively with the senior leadership team to support the business plan and strategic objectives

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing leadership experience, including digital channels
- B2B marketing experience is a plus
- Strong strategic and agile thinking abilities
- Proficiency in digital marketing and CRM systems
- Track record of managing large, multi–functional teams and a passion for developing talent
- Demonstrated ability to deliver marketing strategies and plans with a focus on commercial outcomes
- Commercially minded and data–driven approach
- Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills
- Creative and innovative mindset when creating campaigns
- University qualification in Marketing or equivalent CIM
