Job Title: Head of Talent & Succession
Location: Hybrid, home working with regular visits to our Peterborough Head office

We are looking for someone who will manage the overall internal talent and succession processes and activities for AB Agri ensuring management teams have the tools and resources required to manage succession internally. Bringing external knowledge and practice you'll ensure we're continuously innovating how we manage talent for the success of the business.
We want to elevate our Talent and Succession approach to become truly strategic and proactive. In this role you'll know who our internal talent is and will keep in touch with them in between our talent review processes championing them for new positions. You'll collaborate with other areas of the Talent & Engagement function such as talent development to ensure the right development programmes are in place and with D&I to ensure our internal pipelines are diverse and accessible to everyone. This role is not about designing or delivering training programmes but instead is about championing and driving actions that deliver job outcomes for our internal talent in addition to our talent review process. You'll be responsible for supporting business and HR leaders to develop effective structures that deliver succession opportunities; developing career paths and connecting gaps between succession needs and talent potential across the group. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective career conversations and personal development planning support individual growth, strategic workforce planning and organisation design – having the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.What you'll bring:

Demonstrable strength and experience in talent, succession management & coaching

Proven manager, experienced in coaching and developing performance in own team

Evidence of continuous learning and development of own skills in talent and succession management

Experience of coaching managers supported by a relevant coaching qualification

Experience of using data and insight in decision making and process improvement
-
Understanding of organisational design processes

Experience of strategic workforce planning execution

Experience of developing career paths
