We are recruiting an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client for a Junior HR Business Partner to join their People team on a 12–month FTC, in offices based near Leeds. Our client is an international market–leader within the FMCG food sector, a well–known and globally respected brand. They are offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience as part of a large HR function, providing professional and proactive HR advice and support across all areas of the business including Commercial, Operations and Retail. This is a generalist role providing key involvement in the ER process and implementation of the wider People Plan. The right candidate will be qualified to Level 5 CIPD, with a proven record of managing and resolving ER cases. This is a superb opportunity for a HR Assistant or Advisor looking for that next step with a reputable, global organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Junior HR Business Partner:

  • Support the Commercial and Operations HR Business Partners with ER case queries as requested.
  • Delivering a robust ER case management advice service to various stakeholders in the business, providing coaching and professional HR support to line managers.
  • Monitor ER procedures, policies and processes, ensuring they are effective and applied across the business.
  • Work with the Retail Leadership Team.
  • Provide recruitment support – coordinate and attend interviews, maintain recruitment systems, conduct associated administration.
  • Support and lead on HR Business Partner Team with compliance related requests including DSAR's.

What we are looking for in the Junior HR Business Partner:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Proven track record of managing and resolving ER cases.
  • Customer focussed, working at pace, able to deliver commercial advice.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and relevant HR systems.
  • A strong problem solver, providing pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, influencing stakeholders, and pushing back as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
