Role: Interim Head of Finance

Location: West Midlands (Hybrid up to 3 x days WFH)

Delay Rate: circa. (Apply online only) day (inside IR35) – equivalent of 65–70k

Can you demonstrate that you have experience of developing and monitor financial as well as operational plans?

Please note: This is a full time temporary role.

The Role:

In the Interim Head of Finance role you'll report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for overall responsibility for the general performance of the finance team. You will also be responsible for motivating, mentoring and leading a small finance team.

You'll spend part of the working week based in the company's West Midlands office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on application.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for Interim Head of Finance role you will need direct experience of developing and monitor financial as well as operational plans.

We also need you to have prior experience of:

• Managing cash flow and forecast future cash need
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for board members and other stakeholders
• Analysing financial performance and advise on strategies to improve profitability

It's important that you also have the following:

• A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/aca)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and encourage others
• Previous experience working with multidisciplinary colleagues and teams across the organisation

You'll also need to be the following:

• Available to start an interim role within the next 2 weeks or so
• Able to commit to the length of the assignment, anticipated to be 6 months but likely to be longer
• Happy working in an organisation at a time of change

The Package:

The basic salary for the Interim Head of Finance role is between 300 – 350 per day (inside IR35) which is the equivalent of a 65–70k salary, the cient will pay a salary if that is your preference.
