The Company:
ER Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client, Flawless UK Vape Distribution, a continually growing market leader.
They are looking for a Distribution Operations Director who will oversee company–wide operations of their distribution centre based in Leicester, while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
The role will suit a self–driven individual with a strong passion for implementing best–in–class processes to improve company performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who can play a pivotal role in further growth of an already well–established organisation.

Role & Responsibilities of the Distribution Operations Director:

• Develop operating plans to support delivery of organisational objectives, centred around delivering exceptional customer experience and profitable volume growth.
• Analysing data to identify and resolve issues.
• Train and motivate your team, identifying and nurturing strengths as well as identifying areas for development.
• Negotiate with and managing carrier relationships to ensure that solutions are in place for expansion while providing bottom line savings.
• Guide strategic decision–making and operational activities across all business areas.
• Work closely with the board to develop and communicate the strategic objectives to fulfil the requirements of key stakeholders and promote its long–term success.
• Act as a change leader in driving cultural and process changes that are required to support the business plan.
• Manage projects of varying sizes.
• Responsible for assurance across Quality and Health & Safety standards.

About You as the Distribution Operations Director:

• Proven experience in successful improvement projects including systems, processes and procedures.
• Demonstrable experience in leading diverse teams.
• Background of success in developing and implementing strategies and business plans.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• A level–headed person in stressful or problematic situations and who enjoys solving problems.
• A contagious high energy with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast–paced and changing environment.
