Job Description:
As the Director, your role entails driving business growth by expanding our client network and enhancing our range of services. You have a proven track record of surpassing sales targets and generating new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include leading and developing global access solutions. Collaborating closely with senior management and consulting colleagues, you will oversee consulting projects from pitching to execution and delivery.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate with the wider client team.
About You:
- Possess an extensive global network and valuable contacts for leveraging new business opportunities
- 10 years in pharmaceutical strategy consulting. Additional experience in orphan drugs, cell and gene therapy, and rare disease is advantageous
- Previous role as Associate Director or Director in a comparable organisation, showcasing aptitude for project leadership and business development as demonstrated during the interview
- Key qualifications include core project leadership expertise and a proven ability to secure new business opportunities.
- Extensive expertise in research and analysis, with a focus on developing innovative approaches for tackling unique corporate situations and complex issues. Capable of leveraging experience from diverse contexts to provide valuable insights.
- As a skilled communicator and presenter, you will adeptly lead discussions with complex client groups.
Day to Day:
- You ensure that the team adheres to established processes and guidelines.
- You possess a deep understanding of clients, their specific needs, and the political/legal sensitivities surrounding their industry.
- With confidence, you engage with potential clients to help shape their business requirements.
- Your role involves identifying opportunities and approaching prospects with confidence to establish the scope for proposals.
- You provide guidance and support to project managers in shaping proposals.
Project Lead:
- As the project lead, you will assume the ultimate accountability for the quality and successful delivery of projects.
- It is expected that you will showcase project leadership skills in conceptualising, developing methodologies, and executing project tasks.
- You will ensure that the project team's structure effectively meets client requirements while staying within the defined project scope.
- Your expertise will be valuable in advising on analytic approaches, particularly when dealing with complex issues that require novel approaches to secondary research.
- You will take charge of leading client conference calls and overseeing the delivery of project milestones, including kick–off, interim, and final deliveries.
Thought Leadership:
In your role as director, you will be recognized as an authority on topics pertaining to orphan drugs, cell and gene therapy. Your expertise will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities .
You possess a robust knowledge base concerning regulatory, pricing, and reimbursement processes associated with orphan drugs in the top 5 European Union countries.
Actively participating in conferences, presenting at webinars, and contributing to podcasts, you will serve as a subject matter expert within your chosen area of specialisation.
