Group Tax / Treasury Manager required for a major property development group in Cheshire reporting to the FD
Your new company
This is a large, international property development company who are looking to continue their impressive growth with the strategic appointment of a Group Tax & Treasury Manager in their head office in Wilmslow., Cheshire. The company have over 50 years of experience and operate in multiple overseas jurisdictions covering residential, commercial and overseas property development work.
Your new role
This role as a Tax and Treasury Manager will see you report directly into the Group Financial Director, whilst providing key advice to the main board for the group and their associated companies. You will ensure compliance with UK Tax requirements and report on UK tax balances for the group, whilst also drafting and submitting computations for all the group companies and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements. You will be responsible for management and reporting of the treasury, including the review of bank reconciliations, preparation of bank balances, and handle cashflow reports.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an excellent role for an ACA / CTA qualified corporate tax specialist. You must show the ability to confidently interact with senior management and the board of directors, whilst also be proactive and enthusiastic in your approach to work. Ideally, you will have gained experience working as an in-house tax manager, but the role could also suit a first time mover looking to gain some in-house experience in an international group.
