Director of Finance, reporting into the CEO, working within the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) providing strategic direction for the MAT and its partners in regards to finance.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will need a proven track record in the Education Sector and experience within the Senior Leadership Team. The client is experiencing a period of growth and so exposure to previous expansion would be highly beneficial.

Executive Leadership:
- Distinct and coherent contribution
- Proactive within the ELT
- Representation and advocacy
- Lead on continuous improvement
- Reporting and liaising with Board of Trustees
Financial Management:
- Overall responsibility, including internal controls
- Finance systems management and monitoring
- 3-year budgeting & forecasting
- Support training programmes with financial know-how and insight
Payroll & Pensions:
- Overall responsibility for statutory compliance and reporting
- lead on audit process
Procurement & Resources:
- Lead on procurement
- Lead on contracts and tenders
- Management of PSL
- Process monitoring and evaluation
- Compliance
What you'll get in return
For undertaking this role the postholder will receive:
- Initial remuneration of between £78,000 - £86,000pa dependent on experience.
