DKF are working with a long–established Asbestos Removal business located in South Yorkshire who are recruiting for a Managing Director.

Established over 40 years ago and holding a recently renewed 3–year HSE licence, our client is a reputable, well resourced and solid presence in the asbestos removal sector where they enjoy an exceptional and reliable client base, a number of framework opportunities and the ability to work on a national basis to meet client requirements and tender for work UK wide.

Experience at senior management / director level within an asbestos removal business is very much preferred however our client is open to hearing from candidates from other contracting disciplines who have the appropriate seniority and track record to add value as a hands–on Managing Director.

Key functions of this role will include;

• being at the forefront of the organisation, driving the business forward and leading the team to success.
• responsible for setting the organisation's strategy and vision and achieving objectives
• managing day–to–day operations
• financial planning
• Implementation and measurement of KPIs
• developing team members
• generating a profitable return for shareholders of the business

You'll need to have an excellent understanding of the asbestos removal market, and the ability to create innovative solutions to ensure our clients success.

It goes without saying that strong networking, excellent communication and first–class people skills are essential.
