Group Financial Controller

Morgan McKinley London are delighted to be partnering with a SME business based in Central London to recruit a Group Financial Controller on temporary basis for 3 months. This is a great opportunity to work alongside Board level staff within the business on a weekly basis with a few direct reports.

The role:

Responsibility for the group accounting processes end to end.

Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, maintenance and development of all financial reporting, financial systems and information within the business. This includes local, group and regulatory reporting.

Working in with the Finance Director with periodic reporting to the banks, franchisor and other internal and external stakeholders.

Production of statutory accounts for all entities liaising with external auditors.

Identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives and analysis.

Responsible for overseeing payroll duties, reviewing and authorization of payroll, P11D and other payroll compliances.

Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations including production and submission of all information required, such as, Vat calculations and submissions, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Director Personal Tax Returns.

Requirements:

A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

Proven experience as Financial Controller or Finance Manager

Experience working within complex group structure

Experience in the food and beverage industry is advantageous

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Strong team and personal coaching and development skills

Cashflow forecasting

Ideally somebody with SAGE
