Democratic Services Officer
Sellick Partnership are seeking a Democratic Services Officer to join a highly regarded local authority in the West Midlands. The role will be for an initial period of 3-6 months, however this could be extended.
As Democratic Services Officer, you will be required to take part in a number of duties as part of this role. Some of the duties will include, but not limited to:
The role can be worked on a remote basis, however it would be advantageous if the successful candidate could attend the offices occasionally.
Previous experience of working as a Democratic Services Officer is preferred, however candidates with experience in administration, including arranging meetings and minute taking, will be considered.

- Organise and attend meetings, and ensure that they are organised, convened and serviced in accordance with statutory requirements
- Prepare relevant documentation arising from such meetings, this can include reports and briefing notes
- Undertake relevant research
