The Director of Safety position is a new role that aims to redesign structures and realign governance accordingly bringing together initiatives under a more strategic and transformative programme. There will be a focus on creating engagement as well as on stakeholder management, and the position will begin the process of change management and Culture transformation.
Our clients risk profile is varied and covers things like construction, food safety, public safety and fire safety so ideally we are looking for a professional well versed at working to a high strategic level in a director position with a multi–faceted background. You must have excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience of stakeholder management, as well as the ability to create buy in easily and confidently. You will be degree or Diploma qualified and ideally will also hold CMIOSH or CFIOSH status.
Imperative for the position is someone with excellent complex stakeholder management experience and knowledge, experience and gravitas. You must also be able to demonstrate extensive change management and culture transformation project experience.
As the role is an interim position, the expectation is not to complete everything but more to focus on scoping the programme and making initial structural and governance changes where appropriate while leaving others for a permanent employee to take over in the future.
There is hybrid working available but the expectation for this role would be to be visible, and we would prefer someone to be based on site in London more offer than not.
This role is offered inside of IR35, so candidates will need to work through an umbrella company PAYE. Day rate is dependent on experience but circa (Apply online only) per day. For more information please contact (url removed)
