Business Development Manager – Electronics/Displays

I'm recruiting a Business Development to join a supplier of electronic components and custom solutions, covering the North of the UK.

This organisation has close relationships with leading electronics manufacturers and sell into various markets including Defence & Aerospace, Fire & Security, Instrumentation, Industrial, Medical, Telecoms, Transport and POS.

This would suit any ambitious salesperson within the electronics space, experience with displays or HMI systems is preferred but not essential.

The package

• 50,000 base
• 10%–20% of base in additional commission
• 60,000+ OTE
• Car allowance

The Role

• Generation and development of direct business
• Generation and Development of New Business
• Management of existing accounts
• Attend customer meetings

You

• Experience in similar field–based sales role such as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer or similar
• Knowledge of the electronics market
• Knowledge of TFT Displays and touch screens, Embedded Solutions, Interconnection and Connector Technology, Thermal Print systems, Fans, Relays, Static protection, Capacitors, Circuit Protection or similar technology is beneficial
• Based in or around the North of the UK
