Business Development Manager
Hybrid Working – Ideally within 1 hour from either Oxford / Cheltenham
OTE GBP50,000

The Business Development Manager Opportunity:
This is a new dynamic role within the business so we are on the hunt for a self–starter able to confidently lead on sculpting the new role. The person will report directly to the Managing Director.
The role will be mainly focused at searching for new business opportunities using your knowledge of the market and personal networks. Using our existing CRM database you will also develop relations with existing clients and help increase the amount of repeat and referral business.
We work across a broad range of markets and welcome someone to build relationships both generally and/or more specifically if you have specialist knowledge of a specific sector e.g. Construction, Architecture, Planning, Minerals, Waste, Renewables.
You will be expected to ensure the CRM system is accurate and highly utilised and develop efficiencies across our sales and marketing systems to drive innovation and automation.
About you:
+ Ideally experience of working in the ecology sector or relevant client groups e.g. Architecture, Planning, Construction.
+ Experience of modern sales and marketing methods
+ Experience of utilising modern CRM tools, marketing packages
+ Experience of managing marketing campaigns
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with outgoing personality
+ Good industry knowledge and existing contacts or a strategy to generate leads quickly
