Finance Manager

12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

My client is a successful engineering organisation based in the Dunfermline area. They have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to cover a maternity leave contract for 12 months. Reporting to the Site Managing Director, you will be part of the Senior Leadership team.

Responsibilities Include

• Leading a team of 4
• Management of company budget and forecasts
• Prepare of all financial reporting monthly to management and group finance
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Cash flow management including bank reconciliations
• Payroll
• Asset management
• Quarterly stock counts
• Audit preparation
• Ensure statutory compliance and accurate submissions to HMRC including VAT
• ONS reporting
• Overseeing administration and sales team as required

Experience & Skills Required

• Previous experience of working in a varied and hands–on finance management role
• Experience of managing a small team
• Previous experience of working in a small company as well as reporting to Group
• Confident IT skills including advanced MS Excel, ideally SAP and Sage Payroll would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, this should include building relationships with internal Stakeholders
• Candidates should be comfortable in a commercial business support role, where you will provide support with financial and commercial business decisions
