Head of Operations

Our client is an award–winning leading provider of CV verification and background screening services using innovative technology and methodology. They carry out background checks on candidates to enable their clients to make informed and long–term rewarding recruitment decisions.

This person will create and build a best in class, modern, global operations function, with simple, standardised, and scalable processes. People and Technology will be at the heart of everything you do.

Salary up to 80k. Hybrid.

About the role:

• Own the end–to–end global operational functions, including telephone verifications, back–office analysis and processing, data sourcing and quality assurance to create a frictionless experience throughout the customer and candidate journey
• Build an Operations strategy that delivers standardised, efficient, and scalable processes, which is driven by data and KPI's
• Harness the power of new technology and data to work smarter, improve efficiency, quality, and cost management, whilst keeping the client and candidate experience at the heart of everything we do

The must haves:

• Previous experience in a global operational role with sound knowledge of business processes
• Experience of driving global expansion and overseas operations, including planning, and executing a global recruitment strategy, and managing virtual teams in different times zones and locations
• Experience of working in a growth business that is constantly evolving and of using technology to eliminate manual processes, improving business operations and customer experience
• Be an incredible leader with authenticity, gravitas to influence others and the ability to inspire people
• Demonstrable experience of using data to understand and improve performance, make decisions, and challenge current thought processes.
• Experience of leading, managing and developing an interdisciplinary team, improving team performance, and supporting an environment of continuous learning
