Senior Project Manager

My client is a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation – due to large scale growth they are looking to recruit a number of delivery manager's for UK wide Projects.

Whilst you may have any my clients UK offices as a base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home during the week at short notice

The Job on offer

You will have the opportunity to shape the success of our Data projects delivering value to our clients, our business and supporting the development of our Engagement Managers

• Starting in the sales process, you will provide assurance on our ability to successfully deliver our proposals
• You will oversee our sales to deliver handover processes, giving our Engagement Managers the best possible start
• Accountable for a portfolio of projects, you will support our Engagement Managers throughout the delivery lifecycle acting as a coach, an auditor, and the key delivery escalation with ultimate accountability for the commercial and financial success of our deliveries
• Finally, you will make sure we complete and close our projects

Your role

• Overall delivery profitability and productivity
  Delivery risk management including instigating risk and quality reviews
  Being the escalation point for delivery issues
  Coaching the engagement manager
  Deployment of core delivery processes and tools
  Ensure our projects comply with quality systems and support the use of corporate tools
  Continuous process improvement
  Support our Engagement Managers secure delivery resources for key and on and offshore roles
  Accountable for financial and commercial KPIs across your portfolio of projects
  Review and approval of project commercial documents
  Review and approval of proposals
  Making sure that our Engagement Managers are engaged in the sales to deliver handover processes
