Associate Director - Project Management

Our client, a leading multi–discipline construction and property consultancy, is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This is a senior–level position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects including industrial, commercial, and public sector.

As the Associate Director – Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex construction projects, from inception to completion. Your primary duties will include:

• Leading project teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules
• Managing project risks and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
• Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

In addition, as an Associate Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to junior project managers and contributing to the growth and development of the Birmingham office.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
• At least 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, including experience managing industrial, commercial, and public sector projects
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and manage project teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
• Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
• Experience with project management software and tools
