We are working with a leading international automation business, supporting them with appointing a new Control Systems Engineer for a Strategic Support Engineering position. This role will focus on PLC, SCADA, Industrial Automation & Operational Technology requirements for engineering customers in the manufacturing sector.
This is a field and home based role, covering engineering customers across sites in the UK, with a concentration on the Anglia region (from Milton Keynes/Kettering across East to the coast), this role will be a mix of travelling to customers for engineering visits with the rest of the time working from home remotely.
The package is in the region of GBP45–50k + a company vehicle, 10% annual bonus, corporate benefits (including private medical, up to 11% combined pension, life assurance, death in service, etc)
You will be working remotely and spending time visiting the company UK customers to support them with their ongoing Control Systems requirements and LifeCycle services they receive. This could include reviewing technical queries, discussing new installations and systems, overseeing delivery of engineering and technology services etc.
The nature of the customers that the business deals with direct also means that this role will only have exposure to large blue–chip customers that have vast install bases.

- Performing and Maintaining Customers Installed Base Evaluations
- Obsolescence reporting and migration management
- Resolution of technical issues
- Expansion of existing services within the current agreements
- Promoting RepairPlus sales
- Identifying and Qualifying CSM sales leads
