Business Development Manager – Advertising

Location: Yeovil

Hours of work: (9.00am–5.00pm Monday to Friday

Salary: competitive and dependent on experience + bonus

We are seeking a highly motivated and results–driven Advertising Sales Executive to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling advertising space to established businesses. You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, developing, and executing sales strategies, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to thrive in a fast–paced, deadline–driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and qualify sales leads, meet and sell to prospective customers

Meet existing customers and identify account growth opportunities

Maintain accurate records and administration

Represent the business positively to become a brand ambassador

Hit and exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators

Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales team and other departments

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

Proven track record in advertising sales (minimum 4 years experience)

Able to generate and develop new client relationships face to face and virtually

Meet and exceed sales targets

Excellent written and oral English skills

Able to source leads and qualify them over the phone

Degree level qualification (an advantage but not essential)

Must be within commutable distance to Yeovil, Somerset
