This Head of Finance position will report directly into the CEO and work really closely with them and the MD on key business decisions. You will have 2 direct reports, so the role will also be quite hands on and involve supporting and developing them.

My client are a very successful and growing manufacturing SME. They have diversified their offering and are looking at really exciting growth plans over the next few years.
Description
- Timely and accurate production of the management accounts reports each month
- Key balance account reconciliation
- Monthly review of financial forecast ensuring the company is on track to achieve financial objectives and making recommendations where remedial action is required
- Financial modelling to aid decision making and improve efficiencies
- Preparation of the year end statutory accounts for all entities
- Review of Corporation Tax computations
- Work with the Executive Board to improve internal KPI reporting
- To work with the projects team to protect cashflow, review profitability and cost variances for feeding back into the Sales team to improve future project costing
- Work with the wider team to continuously improve financial controls
- Seek out technological developments to improve efficiency and negate the need for additional resource in the short to medium term as the company grows
- Treasury responsibilities
- Manage external relationships with bank, external accountants, R&D tax advisors and insurers
- To process intercompany transactions between the trading entity and Group.

- Qualified accountant

Job Offer
- Salary circa £60/£65k
- 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, this increases with length of service
