Our client, a prestigious financial services firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager within Financial Control to manage Group reporting, planning & consolidation processes.This is a unique and exciting opportunity to drive efficiency & quality within the Finance function of a leading financial services firm which is well positioned for future growth.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the role will be responsible for developing & delivering the annual report & accounts; enhancing monthly cycle processes; and delivering technical support to business stakeholders through challenge & commercial analysis. This includes driving the implementation of Financial Control policies, collaboration across Financial Control and supporting the development of meaningful insights for the Head of Financial Control & CFO.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience of IFRS accounting standards. You will have experience producing or auditing consolidated accounts within a listed company finance function. Experience of regulatory capital reporting would be an advantage. You must bring excellent communication skills as well as industry awareness, pragmatism and strong analytical skills. You should also be inquisitive, a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with a positive can-do attitude.
