Interim Assistant Headteacher

Empowering Learning are working with a primary school based in East Anglia who are seeking to appoint an interim Asssitant / Deputy Headteacher from April 2023 to oversee curriculum and assessment across the school.

The core purpose of this leadership role, is to ensure the achievement of the highest possible educational standards, creating an ethos characterised by high expectations and a community in which pupils and staff feel valued, aswell as providing support to the Headteacher management and development of the school curriculum and learning and teaching provision in order to promote improved educational outcomes for the children.

You will be a highly motivated, experienced and ambitious Assistant / Deputy Headteacher, with high expectations of themselves, who is ready to play a key role in the overall leadership, management and further development of this particular primary school.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an Assistant / Deputy Headteacher in a primary school setting
• Exemplary practitioner with the ability to coach and develop colleagues
• Commitment to adapting and leading change in our flourishing and ever improving school by raising standards of education and accelerating the performance and achievement of our pupils
• Experience in leading assessment, tracking and monitoring
• Commitment to raising children's aspirations
• Ability to inspire and motivate colleagues, pupils and parents
• Creative and innovative approach
• Commitment to improving life chances for pupils
• Commitment to keeping Children Safe in Education

Daily rate: 250 – 280 per day (All inclusive)
