Interim Finance Director (Outside IR35)

Our Client, a leading FMCG business, has a requirement for an Interim Finance Director to take full responsibility of the reporting and controllership team. It is essential the individual appointed has recent experience of working within a fast paced private equity organisation therefore understanding the unique complexities and demands of this type of environment.

Key accountabilities will include ensuring that appropriate financial information and insight is delivered to the senior management team in a timely manner, executing strategies for growth and business efficiencies, mitigating risk, producing five year business plans, working with the wider group finance team in utilising reporting systems, facilitating accurate monthly reporting, ensuring best practice for AP/AR processing, ensuring robust financial controls are in place, finalising statutory accounts, liaising with auditors and expert tax teams, providing financial plans for new business development and coaching the existing finance team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous commercial experience generated within fast moving sectors. You will have a demonstrable track record of operating as an interim at the FD / CFO level, experience in managing a P&L from an operational perspective, have expansive experience in supporting executive leaders within an environment of scale and complexity along with strong commercial and pricing experience including working with complex contracts and bids. This is a pivotal role within the business and applicants must possess drive and determination, strong reporting and controllership experience, commercial acumen and considerable intellectual ability. The ability to influence stakeholders at varying levels across the business is essential.
