Description
The role reports in to an impressive Managing Director and looks after a small close knit team. This role works closely with operations and will be responsible for the the following
- Accurately preparing consolidated management accounts
- Costings and Stock valuation & control
- Responsibility for balance sheet control
- Cash flow management
- Overseeing payroll and timesheets
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems to ensure they are fit for purpose as the business continues to grow
- Ensuring best practice governance is maintained, including fillings to relevant authorities
- Being the first point of contact for external auditors
Profile
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QBE)
- Commercial experience with budgeting, forecasting and/or pricing
- Experience in a role/business where you have driven change
- Experience of cash flow management
- Experience of working for a manufacturing business
- Experience in a hands on role
- Excellent numerical and communication skills
- Experience of improving systems, controls and reporting
