Part Time Finance Director roles can be hard to come by - especially ones in complex and exciting organisations. We are therefore delighted to be working with a key regional organisation in their search for a new Director of Finance. This role is integral to the leadership of the organisation and will be a key cog in the Executive Team.

This role will lead the Finance and Procurement functions by providing strategic direction towards the achievement of corporate objectives. Managing a large and extremely competent team under an excellent Finance Manager, you will oversee the full financial process and reporting. This is a highly strategic role where you will be managing all areas of the corporate reporting, advising the very top stakeholders within the organisation.

Externally, this role will be crucial and extremely visible. You will be responsible for liaising with financial, operationally focused and government bodies - acting as a key representative to influence key decision making processes.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a high calibre individual with drive, demonstrable financial strategic skills, and with political awareness, who will have a major influence on the future of the organisation. This will require an open, transparent and inclusive style, and the ability to develop positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

This role suits someone who wants to work a high strategic level, with extensive experience in negotiations and corporate reporting. A track record in delivering continuous improvement across all areas of the organisation will be expected. The individual will require an open and engaging style of leadership, significant experience of providing professional financial strategic direction, and a commitment to all aspects of diversity and inclusion, will be essential in building effective relationships with all stakeholders in managing through a period of change.
