Business Development Manager
Circa GBP60,(Apply online only) – GBP70,(Apply online only)+, plus commission

Place of Work: Remote (with occasional visits to HQ)
Role Purpose:
- Working for one of the UK's fastest–growing and already market leading Soft FM service providers.
- We have a new opportunity for a proactive Business Development Manager with a background in Facilities Management services
- The purpose of this role is to build a strong pipeline of FM opportunities on a national basis and create successful, valued solutions for potential clients.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience gained from several years as a leading Business Development Manager. You will have developed client–focused, deliverable solutions and be a self–motivated, target–driven individual who leads from the front; and who is keen to develop their career within SBFM.
Key Accountabilities:
- You'll be identifying and securing new business opportunities in line with our strategy.
- Win new business through your outstanding ability to consult, negotiate and secure new customers
- Build and maintain a network within strategic target industries sectors
- Identify customer opportunities (nationally), develop and nurture these client relationships to identify what we can offer them to add value
- Take ownership of your own success through the delivery of sales excellence, with autonomy to initiate and develop opportunities & relationships
- Act as a brand ambassador, increase company awareness and drive sales
- Work closely in collaboration with our bid, estimating and operations teams to develop competitive, innovative and compelling service solutions; articulated through tender returns and client presentations
- Manage the Sales to Operations handover process and support successful contract mobilisation
- Ensuring the data integrity of the CRM system
Skills & Qualities:
- Great understanding of solution selling, a consultative approach and provide market intelligence
- Ambitious and enthusiastic towards your own success and our growth plans
- Leading tender opportunities, through to negotiation and successful completion
- Acute market knowledge combined with confidence derived from experience
- Ability to competently network with senior decision–makers and develop a pipeline within strategic targeted industries
Required:
- 3 years minimum experience in FM
- UK driving licence and a willingness to travel nationally
