Finance Manager - 6 month contract / Temp to Permanent

We are delighted to be collaborating with an important real estate investment and development firm who are looking for Finance Manager on an interim basis.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be able to bring your broad accounting and interpersonal skills into play to have a meaningful impact on the business!

Responsibilities will entail:
  • Preparation of consolidated monthly accounts
  • Production of statutory accounts under IFRS and dealing with the auditors and producing partnership accounts
  • Preparing the budgets and forecasts and variance analysis and commentary
  • Financial Control of general ledgers and oversight of AP, expenses, accruals, prepayments etc.
  • Review of project accounting for development projects and supporting the business with information for decision making
  • Management of an accountant


What are we looking for in a candidate:
  • You must be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA, ACCA etc.)
  • Ideally 2-4 years post qualified experience as they are looking for someone who can grow into the role
  • Real Estate experience is essential (Investment & development finance)
  • Statutory accounting skills under IFRS essential (strong technical accounting skills)
  • Budgeting & forecasting, cash flow modelling experience
  • Strong excel skills and financial modelling

Duration: 6 months, with a possibility of temporary to permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £400 - 450 per day via umbrella
