Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Required for our client who are a Quantity Surveying Practice who have clients within the Civil Engineering and Water sector. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join them on a full–time permanent basis. The Senior Project Manager will be working remotely via a home office with site meetings across the South of England around 2 days per week. This position is working on Water contracts across the South East Water, and Southern Water areas. This area extends from Ramsgate through to Southampton.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience ideally within the water sector although some civils knowledge would also be considered. The ideal Senior Project Manager will have experience working on NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts. The candidate will need to be able to travel for meetings and will be seeking a long term position. This position will offer the candidate training to become a NEC Accredited Project Manager if not already obtained.

Senior Project Manager Position Overview

• Deliver Water infrastructure projects from Inception through to completion
• Full range of pre and post–contract project management services
• Responsible for day–to–day management of projects at pre–construction, construction and post–construction
• Providing support and advice on the project technical, financial, contractual, safety and environmental aspects
• Work to NEC3 and NEC4 contract suites
• Support Project leaders in maintain the service delivery
• Work in a fast–passed changing environment
• Proactive in customer relationships
• Sharing knowledge across projects and engaging in brand values

Senior Project Manager Position Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' project management experience
• Ideally have consultancy experience
• Experience delivering projects form inception to completion
• Ideally have Civils Engineering experience
• Water or Waste Water experience
• NEC3 and 4 contract experience is needed
• Based in the South / South East
• Willing to travel across the South of England
• No company office so WFH and site visits must have home office

Senior Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary up to GBP75k DOE
• Holiday 5 week per annum
• Pension 5% pension contribution after three months
• Business mileage
• Chartership support / training to become a NEC Accredited PM if needed
• Remote working
